Taking place in the beautiful setting of Valletta’s Pjazza Tritoni, just a mere 5-minute walk away from the Embassy Valletta Hotel, the Malta International Food Festival goes beyond the usual food and drink affair. It celebrates Malta’s rich food culture by focusing on local and seasonal ingredients, showcasing top-quality producers, and offering a dazzling array of flavors. The excitement continues at the Gozo edition, held a few weeks later beneath the stunning Xewkija Parish Church. This smaller yet equally exciting festival is free to attend and emphasizes a diverse culinary experience, featuring over seven international cuisines accompanied by live music and other entertainment.
Festivalgoers can purchase tokens at designated locations to sample various dishes, including drinks and a fine selection of wines. Entry to the Malta edition is only €2, with children admitted for free. Attendees will also receive complimentary discount vouchers worth over €20, which can be redeemed at different restaurants across Malta. Children will be treated to a free entry ticket to the Malta National Aquarium.
