On select dates this November and December, experience Malta’s rich history brought to life at the In Guardia Parade, a thrilling reenactment at Fort St. Elmo in Valletta. This authentic performance portrays the traditional inspection of the fort and its garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St John, who was responsible for Malta’s military affairs.
During the 40-minute display, around 50 performers dressed in historical attire recreate military drills and showcase the fort’s readiness for any potential threats. The event offers visitors a vivid glimpse into Malta’s storied past, with ticket holders granted access to watch the performance and explore the upper part of Fort St. Elmo.
The In Guardia Parade will take place at Fort St. Elmo on the following dates:
- November 10th & 24th
- December 1st & 15th
