Sailors in the City revives this lost era through characters like Violetta, a singer and barmaid, and her brother Duminku, a sailor full of stories from the war front. Together with live accordion music from Gennaro, the performance blends fact and fiction to recreate the spirited atmosphere of Victory in Europe Day.
