This year, Science in the City is coming back to Valletta with a thrilling real-world programme!
The Science in the City Festival was first held way back in 2012. It was the first science and arts festival to be brought to Malta’s shores and has been growing in scale and vision ever since. The number of attendees has more than doubled from 12,000 in 2012 to 30,000 in 2018.
This year, the Festival is using a hybrid programme, having a mix of online activities and other performances in different venues in Valletta. On the 24th and 25th of September, theatres across the city will host a selection of events created to excite, inspire and entertain people of all ages.
Book your slot now to enjoy this vibrant celebration of science and art, featuring music, interactive plays, comedy, science shows and more. Booking is required due to the pandemic situation, and can be done in two hour slots.
