Malta’s Summer season is synonymous with sun, beach, culture, village feasts and above all, fireworks. For the past 19 years, enthusiasts were delighted to experience the colourful and beautiful firework displays illuminating the night-sky over Valletta’s Grand Harbour and other villages around Malta.
The Malta Tourism Authority and the Ministry for Tourism have just announced that this year’s Malta International Fireworks Festival will take place between Friday, 24th July and Friday, 7th August 2020. The Festival will be held in different areas around Malta with the Grand Finale at Valletta’s Grand Harbour, just a stroll away from the Embassy Valletta Hotel. Each night promises to be a magnificent display of colour and coordination, and the closing night is bound to be a real spectacle.
Each year, the festival hosts a Pyromusical competition, which means that the fireworks are designed to match the rhythm of a musical number! It is definitely an event to remember to all those who visit Valletta and the Maltese islands during the Summer season.
